A 10-hour course in how to facilitate groups. Includes a pre-post skills assessment regarding facilitation theory, tools, demonstration and practice will equip participants to facilitate any type of group experience at workplace, non-profit society, or informal /family interactions. Training explores group dynamics, leadership styles, dealing with conflict or difficult behaviors, stages of group or team development, and choosing facilitation or instruction. This is the second of three courses required to facilitate the Peer Support Skills Training material. Prerequisite: completion of “Peer Support Skills Training” course as a participant.
