Oct 11-14, 2022 Regular $460 + GST ** October discount $399 + GST A 10-hour course in how to facilitate groups. Includes a pre-post skills assessment regarding facilitation theory, tools, demonstration and practice will equip participants to facilitate any type of group experience at workplace, non-profit society, or informal /family interactions. Training explores group dynamics, leadership styles, dealing with conflict or difficult behaviors, stages of group or team development, and choosing facilitation or instruction. This is the second of three courses required to facilitate the Peer Support Skills Training material. Prerequisite: completion of "Peer Support Skills Training" course as a participant. -
Classes: (Tuesday evening 6-9pm) 15th (Thurs-Sat daytime 830am-5pm) 17-19th (Sunday afternoon 1:30-4:30pm) 20th Zoom Link information will be sent to all registrants. Cost: $575 + GST ($603.75 total) IF YOU ARE BOOKING MULIPLE TICKETS, INCLUDE THE NAMES OF YOUR PARTICIPANTS IN THE COMMENTS SECTION BELOW. This amount covers training session costs and all materials for the four training days. It does not include lunches, accommodation, evening meals or travel expenses. There will be a 10-minute break between each module and a 30-minute lunch break each course day. Registration application form and full tuition payment are due in full by November 14th, 2022, unless special arrangements have been made. Financial assistance may be available through Western Canada Peer Training Society.
